Creation

This is a faith based painting I did of God creating something out of nothing, and using his power to bring a chaotic idea into order. I did this painting at a time when I felt like my creativity was really struggling. It was hard to think of anything new or exciting to paint and it took me to sad place. One day I just started painting chaotic strokes on the canvas and many hours later this emerged. The whole time I was thinking how awesome it would be to be the kind of creator who just never ever has a lack of ideas. Who can create something from just nothing. Obviously that took my mind to the Lord who has a reputation of doing just that. This painting took many twists and turns before it's final version. All the while slowly but surely bringing order to the chaos.
